Who We Are

Allen Creek, a family owned General Contractor, was founded in 2022 with a simple goal: to build and renovate spaces the right way, with a level of care, quality, and accountability that lasts.

The name itself is a tribute to Jeff’s grandfather, a former naval shipman whose quiet strength, integrity, and craftsmanship left a lasting impression. That influence continues to shape how we approach every project today.

With over 45 years of combined experience, our team brings a deep understanding of both residential and light commercial construction.

Jeff has spent more than 30 years in carpentry, working alongside respected builders on custom homes, large-scale renovations, and flagship office tenant improvements in Calgary’s downtown core, as well as restaurant projects in the Edmonton area. He specializes in finishing carpentry and renovations, holding both himself and his trades to a high standard of quality.

Aylsa brings over 15 years of experience in painting and finishing, including more than a decade running her own company. As a certified Journeyman in Painting and Decorating, she specializes in cabinet refinishing, painting, and wall coverings, with a sharp eye for detail and a focus on delivering finishes that not only look exceptional but stand the test of time.

We work across both residential and light commercial projects, taking on everything from kitchen, bathroom, and full home renovations to office tenant improvements, retail spaces, clinics, and quick fit-ups.

On the residential side, we help homeowners transform their spaces with thoughtful planning, clear communication, and a strong focus on budget and timelines. Whether it’s a single room or a full home renovation, our goal is always the same: to deliver a finished product that exceeds expectations and feels built to last.

On the commercial side, we understand the importance of efficiency, coordination, and minimizing disruption. Our experience working in active and occupied environments allows us to plan thoroughly and execute with precision. From office and retail spaces to medical and professional clinics, we bring a structured, reliable approach to every project.

How We Work

Our process is built around clarity and preparation. We begin by meeting with you to understand your vision, often bringing in a trusted designer early in the process. From there, we provide a ballpark estimate to ensure alignment before moving into detailed planning.

Once the scope is clearly defined, we present a fixed price contract and project schedule. From there, we move quickly into material sourcing and project execution, keeping communication consistent through written updates, calls, and in-person meetings.

We put a strong emphasis on preplanning, which makes up a significant portion of our workload. This allows us to manage timelines effectively, reduce surprises, and keep projects running smoothly. When changes do arise, we handle them transparently through clear communication and documented approvals.

We are actively expanding further into medical, dental, and professional clinic spaces, as well as office tenant improvements and custom home projects.
